The International Council on Shared Parenting (ICSP) is holding their 2023 conference in Athens on May 5th-7th this year. Delegates can attend in person or online.
Ian Maxwell from Shared Parenting Scotland is presenting a paper at the conference on “Can Early Training Move Separated Parents towards Shared Parenting Arrangements?” at the conference, reporting on our experience in launching the New Ways For Families(r) training in Scotland. He will also moderate a session on Best Practices in Child- and Family-Friendly Mental Health Intervention.
ICSP was formed in 2013 in order to disseminate and advance scientific knowledge on the needs and rights (“best interests”) of children whose parents are living apart, and to formulate evidence-based recommendations about the legal, judicial and practical implementation of shared parenting. It brings together researchers, legal and other family professionals and activist organisations to bridge the gap between socio-legal practice and empirical evidence on shared parenting.
